Job Summary
This role exists to ensure the seamless coordination, communication, and execution of strategic, operational, and administrative functions across our client's China development and investment projects. By acting as a key interface between headquarters and local teams, overseeing budget and compliance reporting, driving brand consistency through proactive digital and identity management, and ensuring smooth cross-functional operations, the role directly supports Client's strategic objectives in China by enhancing operational effectiveness, upholding corporate governance, and strengthening brand presence in key markets.
Responsibilities
- Liaise between HQ departments (AP, IS, HR, Admin, CSS, CCD, BSM/Marketing) and local teams to align operations, project updates, and business processes, ensuring cohesive execution of development and investment initiatives
- Manage internal and external enquiries by directing them to relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-ups to maintain effective communication flow
- Coordinate cross-functional tasks and reporting to enhance project and operational effectiveness across China entities
- Lead the planning, drafting, and publishing of content on client's China subsidiary's website and WeChat to help strengthen digital presence and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with Marketing, CCD, and vendors to create content, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements for continuous digital optimization
- Initiate drafting, reviewing, and implementation of corporate identity and branding materials to maintain brand consistency and visual standards across local platforms
- Consolidate and submit routine reports, including risks, fraud, and compliance, to HQ punctually to support corporate governance
- Coordinate accurate documentation and filings with authorities for China entities, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Oversee AML-CFT and ABAC eLearning enrolment and completion tracking for local teams to uphold compliance training standards
- Take charge of annual budget preparation, ensuring alignment with strategic financial goals
- Monitor and track departmental expenses to maintain budgetary control and financial accountability
- Review and process operational and administrative memos, approvals, and support documentation to facilitate smooth internal workflows
- Oversee business travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and daily administrative functions to support operational efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date and organized records of correspondence, contracts, and official documents to ensure accessibility and audit readiness
- Coordinate with vendors for digital content, technical support, and service delivery related to China's online platforms to ensure seamless operations
- Lead facilitation of annual contract renewals and negotiate favorable terms to optimize cost efficiency and service quality
