As a Business Operations Lead, you serve as a strategic and tactical partner to the Functional Leadership team, driving strategy and goals in alignment with Site and Network objectives. You are a multi-discipline professional representing the Site Business Support group, working collaboratively to drive excellence in project portfolio management, change leadership, and operational excellence. You play a key role in deploying site-wide business processes and leading strategic projects, such as product technical transfers and business programs. You push boundaries to enable a continuous improvement mindset and implement lean practices that result in quick and efficient innovation.
Your Opportunity
Functional Partnership & Excellence:You drive business results by facilitating functional goal development using lean strategy tools. You manage the functional project portfolio process, leading prioritization to ensure alignment with resource management and business timelines.
Operational Excellence (OE) Deployment:You act as a strong advocacy and change agent for Lean/OE to build a strong continuous improvement culture. You lead process improvement activities to realize productivity outcomes and coach improvement projects to achieve functional goals.
Organizational Change Management (OCM):You develop and implement effective change management programs to drive execution excellence. You lead site-wide initiatives to build OCM business processes and change leadership capabilities at both leadership and individual levels.
Program & Project Management:You provide leadership for site-wide initiatives, including CAPEX and Product Technical Transfers. You ensure due diligence is performed to mitigate risks to safety, quality, compliance, and delivery.
Coaching & Capability Building:You act as a coach for colleagues, helping them develop skills in project management and change leadership methodologies. You serve as a subject matter expert on continuous improvement methods and tools.
Communication & Safety:You manage functional communications in line with the site plan, ensuring impactful content and timing. You ensure a safe working environment by complying with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements and site security measures.
Who You Are
Education:You hold a degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or an equivalent discipline.
Experienced Professional:You have a minimum of 8 years of related working experience, preferably within a biotech or pharmaceutical operating environment.
Project Expert:You possess a proven track record of at least 5 years managing small to medium-scale projects of varying complexity. PMP certification is preferred.
Technical Specialist: You have essential competencies in Project Portfolio and Program Management, and you are a certified Black Belt in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Change Leader: You have experience leading change initiatives on local, regional, or global levels and are familiar with industry change management standards such as PROSCI.
Strategic Influencer:You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and high-level facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
