Job description:
Position Summary
The Business Operations Analyst in Operations Transformation act as a bridge between business, operations, technology, and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, focusing on simplification, elimination, and automation
- Analyze existing operational workflows and fragmented applications to design integrated solutions
- Collaborate with department lead and teams to gather and review operations requirements and translate them into functional requirements
- Lead end-to-end process transformation initiatives within CS&O
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to optimize operations processing efficiency and accuracy
- Support strategic projects by aligning business goals with operational outcomes
- Drive stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment on process changes and project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards in the transformed processes
- Provide subject matter expertise on payment systems and operations best practices
- Provide SME support on RPA initiatives
- Conduct detailed process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause analysis for operational inefficiencies
- Develop business cases and project plans for operational transformation initiatives
- Design and document scalable workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Work closely with development teams to implement automation solutions, including RPA or APIs
- Monitor and measure the impact of implemented solutions, providing reports on key metrics
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes or application integrations
- Train teams on new tools, workflows, and technologies to ensure smooth adoption
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time delivery
- Liaise with vendors and external partners for third-party integrations or tool evaluations
- Continuously assess industry trends to recommend innovative approaches for operational excellence
Requirements
- Degree in Finance / Business or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of external/internal audit experience, preferably with AML expertise
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage projects
