Position OverviewSet Sail AI is looking for a Business Manager (Singapore Expansion) to lead market entry, drive enterprise sales and build strategic partnerships in Singapore for our AI and agentic automation solutions. The role is highly client-facing and strategic, with responsibility for revenue growth and local go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Set Sail's brand presence and business penetration efforts in Singapore through the development and execution of localized go-to-market strategies.
- Drive business growth via strategic decision-making to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Monitor or assist the execution of the marketing initiatives as noted in our BUD application i.e. digital marketing campaigns (Google SEO, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) and the creation of promotional materials (product leaflets, videos), tailored to the Singaporean market.
- Develop and own the Singapore go-to-market plan, including target industries, key accounts and channel/consulting partners.
- Lead the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, meetings, solution presentations, proposals, pricing and negotiation.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities, with clear revenue forecasts and conversion plans.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to refine positioning, messaging and pricing for the Singapore market.
- Represent Set Sail AI in client meetings, industry events, conferences and partner activities in Singapore.
- Work closely with product, technical and delivery teams to scope solutions, structure proposals and ensure smooth project handover.
- Provide regular reports to management on pipeline status, win/loss insights and customer feedback, with clear action plans.
- Contribute to localisation of marketing assets, case studies and reference stories relevant to Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or digital transformation solutions.
- Proven track record of closing deals with mid to large enterprises in Singapore (e.g. financial services, retail, hospitality, government, telecom, or large corporates).
- Strong understanding of SaaS/recurring revenue models, solution selling and enterprise procurement processes.
- Established network or prior experience working with partners, system integrators or consulting firms in the region is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging C-level and senior stakeholders.
- Strategic, data-driven and highly self-motivated, with strong ownership and ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment.
- Language: Excellent spoken and written English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
