Overview of role

You will support the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management in formulating and executing the strategic priorities of the business, while facilitating effective governance, communication, and operational delivery across the Wealth Management business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management to develop and deliver business strategy, including drafting high-quality strategy papers and presentations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management, providing insights and recommendations to shape decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate forums and committees to ensure effective governance and business management.
  • Coordinate key meetings, committees, and offsite events, including preparation of agendas, materials, and logistics.
  • Track and monitor follow-up actions from meetings, ensuring progress against strategic projects and alignment throughout the Wealth Management organisation.
  • Brief and prepare the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management for meetings with key stakeholders, compiling and summarising relevant information.
  • Monitor and report on business performance, tracking progress against strategic objectives, OKRs, and KPIs.
  • Act as the primary contact for governance and risk management reporting requirements (e.g., CEO reports, investor relations, regulatory reporting).
  • Serve as a liaison for internal communications, promoting effective information flow within the team and across departments.
  • Partner with Finance and People & Culture to ensure sound management of budgets, including oversight of the people cost envelope.
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects and analyses as required by the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management or the Executive Committee.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote collaboration and information flow across senior leadership teams.
  • Collaborate closely with other Business Managers across the department to ensure consistency of approach, share best practices, and provide comprehensive support to senior leadership.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and Communications to craft and deliver important and sensitive messages across the business with clarity and impact.
  • Liaise with Investor Relations to support clear and effective messaging of business performance to the market, ensuring alignment with analyst expectations and contributing to the planning and delivery of a successful Capital Markets Day.

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need

  • Substantial experience in business management, sales operations, or senior executive support roles within the financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information, exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That'll Help

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with integrating AI tools into workflow is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage workload autonomously.
