JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and driven BUSINESS MANAGER to work closely with the Managing Director in ensuring operational excellence while shaping the company's strategic direction. This is a high-impact, multi-faceted role suited for a seasoned business generalist who thrives in dynamic environments. He/She shall serve as a key bridge between management, team leaders, and staff, aligning team efforts with the company's overarching vision, culture, and long-term goals. This is not a role for the faint-hearted. It offers a fast-paced yet supportive and exciting environment where you will be continuously challenged to step outside your comfort zone, pioneer new ideas, acquire new skills, and lead diverse projects. You will have a front-row seat to strategic discussions and engagements with key stakeholders, investors, partners, customers, and prospects, both locally and internationally. Your growth in this role will only be limited by your passion, initiative, and potential.
Your duties shall include:
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute business strategies and growth plans
Set measurable goals and KPIs
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments
Client & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, escalations, and collaborations
Business Development
Support commercial activities including BQ, RFP, RFI, EOI, MOU, etc.
Contribute to expansion initiatives, including setup of new subsidiaries and overseas operations
Partnership Development
Act as the first point of contact for external stakeholders seeking collaboration, partnerships, or technology access
Evaluate and structure partnership and collaboration opportunities
Operational Management
Keep abreast of day-to-day business operations
Ensure optimal resource allocation
Streamline processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Accountancy & Finance, Arts & Social Sciences, or related field
Minimum 5 years of working experience
Comfortable with software applications and technology-related products
Prior experience in startups and/or healthtech, fitness/wellness, or eldercare is an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in stakeholder engagement
Passion for innovation and digital transformation
Independent self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills (proposals, MOUs, pitch decks, etc.)
Adaptable and comfortable with evolving roles
