Job Description
- Reporting to the Chief Representative, you assist in business promotion in all products and serve customers of Helaba Group as defined by the business strategy. This includes all matters relating to promoting Helaba Group's business and all aspects of daily operation, administrative works and other related functions.
- You support the client KYC process and collect and provide credit information.
- You monitor and analyze the local financial market, economic developments, and regulatory changes, providing valuable insights to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- You prepare Rep Office reporting for Head Office and local regulators properly and timely and distribute internal correspondence such as memos, letters, reports or other documents as requested.
- You attend to walk-in customers and answer phone enquiries.
- You are the S-CountryDesk International Hub Manager for mandated countries (currently ASEAN, Bangladesh and India), which includes:
- building and maintaining relationships with Service Providers in collaboration with the Chief Representative,
- provide information for the S-CountryDesk Newsletter, and
- attend to requests by S-CountryDesk associated Sparkassen and S-Internationals in a timely fashion.
- You perform general office administration tasks such as: monitoring and management of office payment processing, compiling monthly cost accounting, and liaising with all vendors and service providers.
Your Profile
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in business or finance
- You are open minded and enjoy working in a flexible environment that requires structured thinking.
- You have a good understanding of economics and business contexts.
- You possess a solid understanding of the banking systems and understand trade finance products.
- You have basic accounting skills.
- You have experience in office management such as scheduling, documentation, meeting planning/organization, and computer skills (eg. MS Office, Internet Banking)
- You have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- As you will have to communicate with German and local stakeholders on a constant basis, fluency in both English and German language is required for this position
