Business Intelligence Specialist

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region. We're seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Technical Specialist to be a foundational member of Beyond The Vines BI function and team.

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining the core BI infrastructure that enables data-driven decision-making across the company. You will design, implement, and maintain the data pipelines and the data warehouse that feed into our BI tools, ensuring we have a robust and reliable source of truth for our analytics.

Responsibilities include:

• Data Infrastructure Setup: Design, build and implement end-to-end data pipelines from various source systems, using APIs or scheduled data exports, to load data into a central data warehouse.
• Data Warehouse Management: Maintain and optimize the data warehouse to ensure data integrity and performance, making sure that data is clean, consistent, and ready for analysis.
• BI Tool Integration: Connect the data warehouse to BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI and build foundational dashboards that can be used by the Business Analyst and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for BI infrastructure, troubleshoot any data-related issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• Foundation-building & Continuous Improvement: Define and document BI best practices, including data standards, naming conventions, and workflows.

Requirements include:

• Minimally 5 years of hands-on experience in similar BI roles, ideally in Retail or FMCG industries.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to data accuracy and reliability.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
