Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team in Singapore. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex business data to support decision-making and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, helping the company improve its strategies and achieve its business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and actionable data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Data Modeling & Querying: Develop and optimize queries and reports in SQL, and work with data modeling tools to structure and organize data for analysis.
- Trend & Pattern Identification: Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data sets to provide actionable insights for various business departments (e.g., marketing, sales, finance).
- Collaboration with Business Units: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and provide customized analytical solutions to meet their goals.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting, and analysis processes, driving efficiency and data quality improvements.
- Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Data Governance: Ensure that data is accurate, clean, and properly maintained, following best practices for data governance and compliance with industry regulations.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to business users on how to access, interpret, and leverage BI tools and reports for day-to-day decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced or data-driven environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and reporting.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable business insights.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and solve data-related issues and offer solutions that align with business objectives.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
