Overview

We are looking for a Business Growth & Partnerships Intern to support AKC's outreach, client engagement, and business coordination efforts.

This internship is suitable for someone who wants to learn how businesses build relationships, manage opportunities, and support growth initiatives in a real working environment. You will gain hands-on exposure to client communication, business coordination, follow-up processes, and partnership support across different projects and services.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support outreach and follow-up activities for enquiries and opportunities
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, discussions, and client communications
  • Maintain trackers, records, and follow-up updates
  • Support preparation of proposals, quotations, and presentation materials
  • Conduct basic research on potential clients, industries, or opportunities
  • Assist with account servicing and relationship management activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth follow-through on requests
  • Help track progress and updates for ongoing opportunities and projects
  • Learn how business relationships and opportunities are managed from start to follow-up

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree student in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with coordination, follow-up, and administrative tasks
  • Responsible, dependable, and proactive
  • Basic familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
  • Interest in business growth, partnerships, client engagement, or sales support
