Business Finance & Analytics, Assistant Director

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Business Evaluation, Opex Performance, and Performance & Value Realisation functions.
• Review and challenge financial assumptions, business cases, event evaluations, and ROI assessments.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business performance, operational efficiency, and value realisation outcomes.
• Monitor the performance of key business initiatives and escalate areas requiring management attention.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
• Review performance trends and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, and productivity improvement.
• Ensure consistency of methodologies, performance metrics, and reporting standards across the team.
• Present findings, recommendations, and business insights to management.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen analytical and business partnering capabilities.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Performance, or Analytics.
• Strong financial analysis and business evaluation skills.
• Experience in ROI analysis, performance management, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
