We're partnering with a high-growth independent marketing and creative group with hubs in Singapore and Tokyo, working with major regional and global brands across APAC. They're now hiring a Business Director Social to sit in Singapore and take a senior lead on commercial growth and social-first innovation across the region.
About the role
- Act as the senior lead on a portfolio of regional clients, with clear accountability for revenue, margin, and overall commercial performance.
- Grow the business by expanding scope across markets and capabilities, and by driving new business, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Build trusted relationships with senior marketing and business leaders, becoming a go-to advisor on social-first, influencer-led, and data-driven growth.
- Lead social and influencer strategy that is culturally sharp, creator-powered, and focused on measurable outcomes.
- Shape and evolve creator ecosystems and partnership models, with strong standards on governance, brand safety, and performance reporting.
- Ensure social is fully integrated with media, PR, brand, and performance marketing, supported by data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools.
- Oversee regional delivery standards to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability, while mentoring senior team members and strengthening the agency's social and influencer capability.
- Stay close to creator economy, social, and cultural trends across APAC, contributing to the agency's profile through industry engagement and thought leadership.
What we're looking for
- 1215+ years experience in integrated marketing, social, and/or influencer-led environments, ideally from agency or consultancy.
- Deep social and influencer expertise with a clear track record of delivering impact for high-value regional clients.
- Proven experience owning and growing sizeable regional accounts with full revenue and profitability responsibility.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and leading complex, multi-market engagements.
- Strong understanding of creator ecosystems, platforms, and culture-led marketing across APAC.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across markets, with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable using modern productivity and presentation tools, with curiosity about emerging AI and marketing technologies.
