Job Summary

The Business Development & Training Manager is responsible for driving business growth and strengthening franchise capability across international markets. This role combines commercial development with structured training leadership to support franchise expansion, operational excellence, and brand consistency.

The manager will develop business development strategies, identify market expansion opportunities, and oversee the design and implementation of training programs for franchise partners. The role also involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective product rollouts, consistent operational standards, andlong-term franchise performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to support franchise growth, partner acquisition, and market expansion across international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, distributors, and partners to support commercial development and operational alignment.
  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of training programmes that align with product launches, operational requirements, and brand standards.
  • Identify capability gaps across franchise partners and develop structured training roadmaps to improve operational performance and product knowledge.
  • Oversee the preparation and updating of training materials, product guides, and operational resources to ensure consistency and accuracy across markets.
  • Analyze sales performance, training results, operational feedback, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities and support business growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, operations, and product teams to align business development initiatives with training and operational priorities.
  • Monitor franchise performance and training effectiveness through structured reporting and performance analysis.
  • Prepare business development and training performance reports for management review and strategic planning.
  • Recommend improvements to franchise development strategies, training frameworks, and operational processes to strengthen long-term partner capability and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, franchise management, training management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of business development, partner management, and market expansion strategies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing training programmes or capability development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret operational and performance data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and international partners.
  • Proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
