As they are looking to scale beyond Singapore, they are looking for a Regional Business Development Specialist who will play a critical role in driving expansion efforts across Southeast Asia and beyond
About the role
Reporting to the founder
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in target regional markets
- Lead market research and competitor analysis to shape our go-to-market strategies
- Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, transport operators, tech platforms, and infrastructure players
- Pitch, present, and negotiate with potential partners and stakeholders across markets
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align offerings with customer and market needs
- Represent the company at regional industry events, forums, and client meetings
- Develop business cases, proposals, and cross-border market entry plans
Skills and experience required
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or market expansion-preferably in tech, mobility, logistics, or transportation sectors
- A start-up mindset: adaptable, self-starter, resourceful, and eager to solve challenges
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to thrive in ambiguity
