Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue new client acquisition and business opportunities within the APAC region (excluding China).
- Build and sustain relationships with potential customers through exceptional service and showcasing product value.
- Collaborate with APAC team members to facilitate seamless transitions of sales opportunities.
- Schedule appointments with potential clients and support the business development team in presenting offerings and addressing inquiries.
- Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer interactions and monitor lead progress.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, including updates on pipelines, lead conversion rates, and forecasts.
- Establish and manage performance KPIs aligned with the APAC go-to-market strategy.
- Support new business generation efforts to achieve team sales targets through effective outreach and opportunity qualification.
- Leverage market intelligence tools to identify trends and potential clients while providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate on targeted sales campaigns to expand the customer base and ensure strong engagement.
- Follow up on leads generated from marketing initiatives to qualify and further opportunities.
- Execute territory campaigns and manage event participation in coordination with marketing, maintaining CRM documentation.
- Provide sales support, including research and information gathering, to enhance business engagement timelines and success rates.
- Manage a small portfolio of generated accounts and lead early engagement efforts to transition them smoothly into full business development processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; a scientific or business-related field is preferred.
- A minimum of two years experience in sales, project management, supply chain, marketing, recruiting, or a related field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- A proactive hunting mindset is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively engage potential clients.
