We seek a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to be based in Singapore. This is a foundational role critical to our international growth. You will be responsible for driving market entry, developing partnerships, and generating revenue in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of the medical device landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Strategy:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the medical device market dynamics, regulatory policies, and competitive landscape within Singapore and potentially other Southeast Asian markets.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential risks.
Develop and implement a strategic market entry and business development plan.
2. Partnership Development & Management:
Proactively source, identify, evaluate, and initiate contact with potential strategic partners, including distributors, dealers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
Lead negotiations and manage the entire partnership lifecycle from initial contact to contract finalization and long-term relationship management.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients and partners to ensure successful and sustained collaboration.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Execution:
Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs to align strategies and ensure the successful launch and implementation of business projects.
Provide market feedback to internal stakeholders to guide product and commercial strategy.
Manage business development projects to ensure they are delivered on time and meet objectives.
Candidate Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above. Fast learner with strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
2. Entrepreneurial spirit, results-oriented, highly independent, and adaptable. Must possess excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business development, sales, or strategic partnership experience.
4 Experience working for a top-tier international consulting firm .
5 A proven track record in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare services sector, especially within the Singapore/Southeast Asia market.
6 Experience in market entry or building a business from scratch.
