Job Title: Learning Sales Professions
Reports to: GP Corporate Sales
Role Overview
The purpose of the Sales Professional role is to work with existing and new clients to find, develop sell services that drive the company's financial growth. This role will be responsible for developing a pipeline through identifying business opportunities and building key customer and partner relationships. The Sales Professional is a consultative seller, who negotiates and closes business deals with extensive knowledge of Learning and Leadership Development solutions. .
Specific Duties
Duties of a Sales Professional are summarized as:
- Prepare sales action plans to meet personal sales targets
- Develop a sales pipeline commensurate with reaching a predefined sales target
- Develop and deliver sales presentations of company services to clients
- Produce sales proposals/RFPs
- Prepare statements of work
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships leading to additional project work
- Work in close collaboration with consulting team and other GP BUs to identify additional opportunities
- Participate in sales networking events
- Ensure CRM system is fully up to date with leads/opportunities
- Manage general administration duties related to the role
- In addition to your main duties, the company may at any time require other duties that are consistent with this role.
- Previously successfully worked in a consultative sales/partner management/business development role
- Familiar with sales enablement tools to include LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CoPilot, Dynamics CRM and HubSpot.
- Ideally have a well-developed network due to previous experience.
- Be able to demonstrate business relationships/partner relationships in the L&D space
- Strong understanding of the L&D solutions and trends
- Have experience selling L&D solutions to Fortune 100/500 clients
- High energy, results driven
- Experience in full life cycle sales from initial contact through to closure
- Strong business acumen and professionalism, excellent presentation skills with solid communication skills both verbal and written
- Has exceeded sales/number of leads quotas in previous roles
- Strong interpersonal/social skills and team-player
- Goal setter / Goal achiever
- Confident and decisive
- Approachable and good listener
