THE ROLE:
As a Senior Manager, AI Business Development, you will lead AMD's AI business development efforts across Southeast Asia. This role spans the full AI ecosystem in the region-from sourcing data center capacity and developing cloud service provider partnerships to engaging AI companies and driving end-to-end adoption of AMD solutions. It is a high-impact position with broad regional responsibility and significant growth opportunity.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills including:
- Regional Expertise: Deep knowledge of Southeast Asia, with up-to-date understanding of regional AI policies, initiatives, and ecosystem dynamics
- Domain Expertise: Strong background in data center GPUs, AI software stacks, and both generative and traditional AI applications
- Business Skills: Excellent marketing, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal), with experience in commercial negotiations and cross-functional leadership
- Program Management: Ability to translate technical requirements into business opportunities, articulate product value propositions, and drive alignment across internal stakeholders to close deals
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the single-threaded leader responsible for AMD's AI business success in Southeast Asia
- Build and grow the end-customer pipeline to expand AMD's market share
- Engage and enable local cloud service providers to deploy AMD GPUs
- Source data center capacity and drive opportunities through to deal closure
- Lead and manage all pre-design win activities, including complex deal structuring and engineering engagement
- Drive cross-functional teams to resolve business and technical bottlenecks and accelerate execution
- Understand customer hardware and software requirements, use cases, and configurations to architect effective solutions
- Provide clear and concise executive-level reporting on strategy and execution
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Specialist in in AI, DC or CSP
- Strong industry connections is highly preferred
