Job Description

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to support in the growth within the MICE and events sector in Singapore.

This role will suit a hunter-style sales professional with hands-on experience in event operations, who is comfortable building a market, opening doors, and selling consultative, experiential solutions to corporate clients.

Job Description

New Business & Sales Growth

  • Drive new client acquisition within the MICE and corporate events space
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to grow presence in Singapore
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and partnerships
  • Identify and convert opportunities across corporate events, incentive travel, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure

Brand Positioning & Market Development

  • Enhance brand awareness and market perception within the MICE and events ecosystem
  • Position the organisation as a strategic events and experiential partner, beyond a traditional tour agency
  • Act as a brand ambassador when engaging corporate clients, agencies, and industry stakeholders
  • Contribute to value proposition development and sales storytelling tailored to the MICE market

Event Operations & Delivery

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver end-to-end event solutions
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in event operations, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution where required
  • Ensure client expectations are met across both commercial and operational aspects
  • Support proposal development with operationally sound and commercially viable solutions

Requirements

Proven experience in business development or sales within:

  • MICE agencies, event management firms, DMCs,
  • Strong hunter profile with a track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Hands-on experience in event operations or delivery (not purely sales-focused)
  • Experience selling consultative, solution-based offerings to corporate clients
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build markets and shape client perception
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and pitching abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Self-starter with high ownership and accountability
