The Role: Become Our Founding Sales Hire
To fuel our next phase of hyper-growth, we are looking for a Superstar Account Executive / BDR to be the very first hire on our sales team. This is a Hunter-First role for a high-energy professional who thrives in ambiguity and is ready to build the blueprint for our sales success.
You won't just be closing deals you will be working directly with the founding team to define our market approach, refine our value proposition, and crush new logo targets across diverse sectors.
What You'll Do (The Scope)
- Pipeline Generation: Independently identify, qualify, and hunt for new logo opportunities. A majority of pipeline will come from you directly (60%).
- Sales Strategy: Develop and drive a sales strategy to build a robust pipeline, working closely with marketing and partnerships teams to execute on the strategy.
- Platform Mastery: Conduct high-level platform demos to prospective clients, translating complex big-data insights into clear business value.
- Executive Engagement: Navigate complex sales cycles involving senior C-suite stakeholders at Enterprise levels.
- Founding Partnership: Collaborate with the founders to close complex deals while providing ground-level feedback to help iterate the product.
- CRM Excellence: Maintain a high standard of data integrity within our CRM, documenting the why behind every win and loss to improve our collective intelligence.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- 4+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS or subscription-based services. You have a documented track record of crushing quotas and winning awards.
- You have worked in at least one high-growthstartup/scale-up. You don't wait for enablement-you find the answers and get it done.
- You are Outbound First. You are confident on cold calls, sophisticated in your email outreach, and relentless in your follow-up.
- Experience with Land and Expand models and selling multi-module platforms.
- You have active listening skills and a genuine desire to uncover customer pain points. You thrive in the grey area of early-stage growth.
- Experience selling to manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural commodity sectors is a significant asset but not required.
