About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development and Project Manager to join our team. This is a position plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, managing development initiatives, develop strategies to generate international interest in the brand and attract qualified franchise partners and overseeing the implementation of expansion projects. You will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy, identifying suitable locations for new stores and managing projects from conception through to successful launch. This role combines business acumen with practical project management expertise, positioning you at the heart of our expansion efforts.
Key responsibilities :-
Business Development
. Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
. Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities.
. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
. Evaluate potential locations for new store openings and business expansion.
. Prepare business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
. Work closely with suppliers, landlords, and franchise partners where applicable.
. Support contract negotiations.
. Monitor project milestones, budgets, risks, and outcomes
. Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by Senior Management
Franchise Development
. Develop strategies to generate international interest in the brand and attract qualified franchise partners.
. Build a pipeline of prospective franchisees through proactive outreach, trade shows, digital campaigns, and industry networks.
. Lead the full franchise sales process: screening prospects, conducting evaluations (financial capacity, operational experience, and brand fit), and facilitating due diligence
. Negotiate franchise terms and ensure alignment with company standards, collaborating with legal and senior management to finalise agreements.
. Represent the brand at international industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase franchising opportunities.
. Act as the primary liaison to provide franchise support and guidance
. Ensure smooth communication between the company and franchisees, fostering collaborative and long-term partnerships.
. Monitor franchisee performance through regular reporting and business reviews, identifying growth
opportunities and addressing operational gaps.
Financial Performance & Analysis
. Work with finance teams to assess the financial viability of new markets and proposed franchise locations.
. Track franchisee financial performance against agreed KPIs and benchmarks.
. Provide financial insights to management on franchise pipeline, ROI projections, and market profitability.
. Ensure franchise growth strategies align with budget allocations and long-term business objectives.
Other Responsibilities
. Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments related to international business development.
. Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by senior management
What we're looking for
. Bachelor's or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.
. Minimum 5 years experience in F&B franchising, business development, or international sales.
. Proven success in franchise recruitment and expansion.
. Proven track record in opening new franchise stores regionally and globally.
. Strong knowledge of franchise operations, legal frameworks, and industry best practices.
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and financial data.
. Independent, self-driven, and results-oriented with a hands-on working style.
. Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
