Job Scope
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within construction
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations to secure new business
- Manage the implementation of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to streamline project delivery and maximise efficiency
- Analyse market trends and competitive intelligence to inform the company's strategic direction
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and new business pipeline
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a business development or project engineering role, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong technical background with a degree in Civil and or Building Construction
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and securing new business opportunities
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
