Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and customise outdoor adventure, leadership, team-building and experiential learning programmes for schools, Scout groups, youth organisations, corporates and external clients.
- Prepare programme proposals, quotations, schedules, learning outcomes, costing sheets and supporting documents based on client requirements.
- Respond to enquiry emails, calls and walk-in requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote and sell SLDC programmes, camp packages, venue rental options and customised learning experiences to potential clients.
- Follow up on leads, soft bookings, confirmed bookings and post-programme feedback to build strong client relationships.
- Coordinate pre-programme, during-programme and post-programme administration, including meals, transport, accommodation, equipment, manpower, project codes and programme materials.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Programmes, Facilities, Finance and Administration, to ensure smooth programme planning and delivery.
- Liaise with schools, vendors, trainers, facilitators, partners and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Support the deployment and coordination of facilitators, instructors and trainers for programmes and camps.
- Maintain accurate programme records, client communication, attendance lists, risk assessments, feedback forms and post-programme reports.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new programme opportunities, target markets, partnerships and potential revenue streams.
- Assist in special projects, grant applications, partnership proposals, sponsorship opportunities and new programme initiatives.
- Review and improve programme workflows, templates, SOPs, documentation and administrative processes.
- Ensure programmes are planned and delivered in line with SLDC's safety procedures, risk management practices and service standards.
- Carry out any other duties or projects assigned by Management in support of SLDC's operational and strategic objectives.
Desirable Attributes & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Outdoor Education, Sports & Recreation, Events Management, Business, Hospitality, Education, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Relevant experience in programme planning, outdoor education, youth development, events, customer service, sales or business development.
- Strong interest in outdoor adventure learning, youth development and experiential education.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare proposals, quotations, reports and programme documents.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple programmes, enquiries and administrative tasks concurrently.
- Proactive, service-oriented and comfortable working with schools, volunteers, vendors, trainers and internal teams.
- Willing to work during overnight camps and occasionally on weekends, evenings or public holidays when required to support programmes, camps or events.
