Business Development Manager

Job Summary

Drive market growth and financial success in China and Hong Kong by acquiring new clients, building strong customer and partner relationships, and leading initiatives to maximize revenue and portfolio contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth in China and Hong Kong
  • Prospect new clients through networking, cold calling, advertising, and other lead generation methods to expand the customer base
  • Build and sustain key customer and channel partner relationships to support long-term business growth
  • Identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals by delivering persuasive pitches and maintaining up-to-date market knowledge
  • Plan and support marketing efforts to enhance business visibility and engagement
  • Design, drive, and own focused initiatives to maximize revenue, margin, attach rate, and overall portfolio contribution
  • Define and implement a business development territory plan targeting pipeline generation, revenue growth, and new logo acquisition to meet KPIs
  • Proactively engage key customers and opportunities through direct customer-facing activities and relationship management
  • Collaborate actively in BMS/team meetings and events to align and drive business objectives across units
  • Support and advocate the company's solution selling transformation strategy and solution portfolio adoption
  • Maintain key interactions with Sales, Customers, Business Partners, Affiliated Partners, and Product Management teams to ensure coordinated efforts

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales and business management or solution design management within the IT industry
  • Proven track record in business acquisition and development
  • Effective communication skills with strong presentation abilities tailored to China and Hong Kong clients
  • Ability to articulate and creatively apply product and customer knowledge to close deals
  • Skilled in communicating and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
