We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Group and accelerate the growth of digitalization within the region. This role is part of Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions, our production center dedicated to the Industrial Internet of Things, Digital Communication, Asset and Process Management, and other innovative digital solutions within the Group. Our digital solutions for process automation are key enablers that complement and enhance our renowned process measuring instruments, delivering tangible value to our customers.

If so, this role offers the opportunity to shape the digital transformation journey for our customers in Southeast Asia. As a key partner to Sales Centers and customers, you will champion the adoption of our digital solutions portfolio and drive sustainable business development across the region. This role is positioned within our production center Digital Solutions and collaborates closely with Sales Centers across Southeast Asia. Depending on your current country of residence, you will be based in Singapore, Shah Alam (Malaysia), Jakarta (Indonesia), or Nonthaburi (Thailand).

Which tasks will you perform

You Will

  • Drive sales enablement and customer engagement by supporting Sales Centers during customer visits as a digitalization advisor/consultant, providing application expertise, internal product training, and technical guidance
  • Plan and deliver impactful customer demonstrations, participate in seminars and exhibitions, and equip Sales Centers with the knowledge, tools, and sales enablement materials (e.g., sales playbooks, presentations, demo scripts, battle cards) needed to successfully close deals
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for digitalization initiatives, focusing on selected accounts and always in close alignment with Sales Center strategy
  • Accelerate business growth and market development by leveraging your process automation expertise, understanding of industry trends, and market insights to drive the adoption of Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions across Southeast Asia.
  • Co-develop and execute sales strategies with Sales Centers to strengthen regional market presence, align offerings with customer needs, and expand into new, scalable customer segments
  • Identify business opportunities and collaborate with the Digital Solutions Product Management Team to ensure portfolio relevance and alignment with market demands
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by acting as the link between local Sales Centers and the Digital Solutions Product Center, supporting product launches, pricing considerations, and lifecycle management (including phase-outs)
  • Serve as an escalation point for product, quality, or logistics issues toward the Product Center to ensure smooth operational support
  • Influence portfolio strategy by providing structured customer and market feedback to help shape the product roadmap and standardize offerings for key industries and accounts
  • Ensure financial and operational excellence by negotiating favorable commercial terms, ensuring alignment with performance targets, and implementing process improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency

What do we expect from you

You

  • Hold a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Are willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Bring leadership or management experience within the process automation industry (strong plus)
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with the ability to drive growth, take initiative, and deliver impactful results
  • Possess strong digital and industry expertise, ideally with experience in digital B2B sales, business development, process automation technologies, or system solutions
  • Are skilled at navigating ambiguity, developing and executing strategic plans, taking justified risks, and confidently driving business outcomes
  • Build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively, including in multicultural and matrix environments
  • Show resilience, adaptability, and moral courageaddressing contradictions, standing by your convictions, and handling challenging situations with confidence
  • Have a positive, forwardlooking attitude with openness and curiosity toward new ideas and change
