Job Description:
This role is responsible for driving business growth while also contributing to solution definition and business analysis. The candidate will engage customers to identify business challenges, perform requirement gathering and analysis, and work closely with internal engineering teams to develop and propose practical, value-driven solutions. This is a mid-level role requiring both business development capability and solid technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and actively build a qualified sales pipeline.
- Engage customers to understand business needs and perform requirement gathering and business analysis.
- Translate business requirements into solution concepts in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Drive end-to-end sales activities from lead generation to proposal and deal closing.
- Lead solution discussions, presentations, and workshops with customers.
- Prepare proposals, including basic solution architecture, scope definition, and costing inputs.
- Work closely with solution architects and engineers to refine technical proposals.
- Support RFP/RFQ responses with both business and technical inputs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in business development, pre-sales, or solution consulting roles.
- Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and solution proposal development.
- Good understanding of IT solutions, system integration, or digital transformation projects.
- Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven with ability to independently engage customers and drive opportunities.
- Experience with enterprise or public sector customers in Singapore is a plus.
- Fluency in English additional languages are an advantage.
