Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will drive growth by developing and executing business strategies, building strategic B2B relationships, and delivering tailored wealth planning solutions for private client and fiduciary services in the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with Board and Management goals to drive company growth
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key B2B stakeholders including law firms, tax advisors, external asset managers, bankers, and corporate service providers locally and internationally
- Assess stakeholders situations and objectives during initial meetings to provide tailored wealth planning advice
- Maintain active and systematic engagement with clients, associates, and external parties to identify wealth planning needs
- Analyze market conditions and competition to provide strategic advice to the Board and Managing Director on company direction and goals
- Propose and implement new products and services to meet evolving market demands
- Develop and maintain marketing literature to support business development efforts
- Plan and execute business development campaigns to generate leads and opportunities
- Prepare detailed client proposals and deliver presentations to prospects and associates
- Provide administrative support and manage application processes for clients post-engagement to ensure smooth service delivery
- Analyze and report business development and lead data to the Managing Director and Board to inform decision-making
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Group, other locations, and Group functional heads to align efforts and share insights
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven experience in Private Banking, Wealth Advisory, trust, or fiduciary services industries
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar business development role
- Strong communication skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports and presentations
- Ability to identify and acquire new business opportunities effectively
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, focus, and a strong professional network to support business growth
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
