Job Scope & Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Sales Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in wholesale, retail chains, distributors, Healthy Indian grocery markets
- Expand market presence for Indian food products such as spices, pulses, rice, snacks, frozen foods, ready-to-eat items, etc.
- Conduct market research to understand customer demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire new wholesale buyers, distributors, and key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Handle key accounts and resolve customer issues promptly
3. Product & Supplier Coordination
- Work closely with Indian suppliers/manufacturers to source competitive products
- Coordinate product selection, pricing, packaging, and private-label opportunities
- Ensure product availability, quality standards, and compliance with import/export regulations
4. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and growth plans
- Identify high-margin products and promotional opportunities
5. Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Support marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, trade fairs, exhibitions, and food expos
- Collaborate with marketing teams on catalogs, pricing lists, and promotional materials
- Promote the company's brand and product range within the target market
6. Distribution & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and demand planning
- Support efficient supply chain management for perishable and non-perishable food items
7. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, import/export regulations, labeling requirements, and certifications
- Support documentation related to customs, shipping, and regulatory approvals
8. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare regular sales reports, market analysis, and performance reviews
- Track KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability
- Provide management with insights and recommendations for business expansion
