Role Overview

The Business Development Manager / Senior Manager is responsible for growing patient inflow into Livingstone Health's specialist services by developing referral networks, strengthening integration with the Group's primary care clinics, and establishing strategic healthcare partnerships.

The role focuses on increasing patient volumes across Livingstone's specialist practices including Orthopaedics, Pain & Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, General Surgery and visiting specialist panels.

A key component of the role is strengthening internal referrals from Livingstone's network of eight GP clinics while also expanding external GP referral relationships across Singapore.

The role will also oversee the Patient Care Team (PCT) to ensure efficient coordination of patient referrals, specialist appointments and industrial accident / work injury case management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Specialist Referral Network Development

. Develop and manage referral channels that increase patient inflow into Livingstone's specialist services.
. Build relationships with external GP clinics and medical practitioners.
. Develop partnerships with allied healthcare providers such as physiotherapy and podiatry clinics.
. Engage hospital discharge coordinators and medical case managers.
. Establish referral pathways for musculoskeletal, endocrine, dermatology and surgical cases.

2. Internal GP Network Integration

. Strengthen referral flows between Livingstone's eight GP clinics and specialist practices.
. Educate GP doctors on specialist services and referral pathways.
. Support clinics in identifying appropriate specialist cases.
. Improve referral workflows between GP and specialist clinics.
. Monitor referral patterns and identify opportunities to improve patient flow.

3. External GP Referral Network Expansion

. Develop and maintain referral relationships with independent GP clinics.
. Introduce Livingstone's specialist services to potential referring doctors.
. Maintain engagement with existing referring clinics.
. Expand the network of external GP referral partners.

4. Strategic Healthcare Partnerships

. Develop referral partnerships with insurance companies and TPAs.
. Build relationships with corporate healthcare programmes.
. Work with medical concierge services and health screening providers.
. Explore regional healthcare referral networks where appropriate.

5. Patient Care Team (PCT) Management

. Oversee the Patient Care Team responsible for coordinating patient referrals and specialist appointments.
. Ensure effective patient triage between GP and specialists.
. Coordinate follow-up patient care.
. Manage industrial accident and work injury case coordination.
. Liaise with insurers and corporate HR departments for workplace injury cases.

6. Referral & Business Development Dashboard

. Develop and maintain a Business Development dashboard to track referral performance.
. Monitor specialist patient volumes by service line.
. Track internal GP referrals and external GP referral sources.
. Monitor corporate and insurance referral channels.
. Track industrial accident case volumes and referral-to-consultation conversion rates.
. Support monthly management reporting and strategic planning.

6. Implementation and maintenance of a structured referral dashboard for management reporting.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

. 5-10 years experience in healthcare business development, medical partnerships or hospital referral networks. . Experience working with GP clinics, specialists, insurers or corporate healthcare programmes.

Skills:

. Strong relationship building with healthcare professionals. . Understanding of the Singapore healthcare ecosystem.
. Strategic partnership development. . Analytical ability to track referral performance.
