Job Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's presence within the travel and tourism industry. This role focuses on increasing sales of travel products such as tour packages, corporate travel services, and destination offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in leisure, corporate, and group travel segments
- Build and maintain relationships with partners such as airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and corporate clients
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Represent the company at travel trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns and travel packages
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field
Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in travel/tourism)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Knowledge of travel industry trends and destinations

Travel Requirements
