Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and developing strategies to increase company revenue and market presence. The role involves sales planning, market research, partnership development, and driving company growth through new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential clients, business opportunities, and new markets to support company growth.
Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve company targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare and deliver business proposals, product presentations, and pricing quotations.
Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and operations to support business expansion.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients and partners.
Track and analyze sales performance, prepare monthly reports, and recommend improvement actions.
Participate in trade shows, networking events, and business meetings to expand brand awareness.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate customer and business records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in sales, business development, or key account management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop long-term business relationships.
Knowledge of wholesale trade, distribution, or import/export industry preferred.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software (preferred).
