About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services sector, particularly in engaging SME and corporate clients to promote and distribute wealth and investment products. Exposure to Private Capital Markets will be a strong advantage.
This role is key in driving client acquisition, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our investment distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with SME and corporate clients.
- Promote and sell wealth management, investment, and private capital market products and solutions.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to support clients investment needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations) to ensure smooth deal execution and client onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Stay up to date with market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the investment landscape.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience within a financial institution.
- Proven track record of engaging and managing SME or corporate clients in the wealth or investment space.
- Understanding of Private Capital Markets and investment products such as private equity, debt, or alternative investments.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
