Key Responsibilities:
Market Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail, foodservice, or wholesale channels.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and gaps in the market.
Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
Understand client needs and provide customized solutions.
Manage customer accounts and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Growth
Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
Work with marketing to develop promotions and campaigns that drive sales.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with product development, operations, and marketing teams to align on goals.
Provide market feedback to influence product innovation and improvement.
Reporting and Forecasting
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and business pipeline.
Track ROI on business development efforts and suggest improvements.
REQUIREMENT:
5 years of experience in business development or sales within the food industry.
Strong understanding of food distribution channels
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow revenue.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel as required.
