Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Business Development Manager establishes KYAN's commercial presence with external stakeholders to drive market penetration and growth for an oncology diagnostics / clinical decision support solution in Singapore.

This is a hunter-led, externally focused role responsible for new business development, key account growth, and long-term customer partnerships across hospitals, cancer centres, and pathology laboratories in the development and execution of KYAN's commercial plans in the clinical decision support platform and offering white glove experience to our customers. This position will also provide key insights from the field to internal stakeholders to guide business plans.

This position is highly focused on external engagement, with approximately 80% time in the field within Singapore.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across public and private oncology institutions.
  • Secure early adopter and lighthouse accounts to establish market credibility.
  • Execute territory and account growth plans to drive adoption and revenue.

Key Account Management

  • Own strategic accounts end-to-end: onboarding, adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Build trusted relationships with oncologists, pathologists, lab teams, nurses, procurement, and hospital administrators.
  • Work with customer teams to identify workflows and drive appropriate utilisation.

Sales Execution & Operations

  • Drive ordering, contracting (where applicable), invoicing, and collections in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Coordinate timely sample acquisition and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement & Insights

  • Present clinical and value-based propositions to decision-makers.
  • Capture customer feedback, patient flow insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to inform commercial and operational strategy.
