Job Purpose:
Responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts in the freight forwarding industry (Air, Ocean, and Land). Achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Account Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate rates.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams for service delivery.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM.
Customer Service:
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
- 45 years of experience in freight forwarding sales (Air/Ocean).
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
