Our client is a leading engineering and project delivery company supporting high-tech industrial sectors across semiconductor, wafer fabrication, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Due to business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive strategic growth and strengthen client partnerships across the region.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and market expansion initiatives across semiconductor, wafer fab, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and chemical sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead client presentations, proposal preparation, tender coordination, and commercial discussions to secure new projects and business opportunities.
• Act as the key point of contact for customers, providing both technical and commercial support throughout the business development cycle.
• Manage tender activities including engineering studies, resource planning, cost estimation, tender clarifications, and submission strategy.
• Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and customer opportunities to support long-term business growth.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project delivery, and commercial teams to align solutions with client and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, market positioning, and strategic growth plans within the organisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Additional qualifications in Business, Marketing, or PMP certification will be advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the MEP, EPC, or industrial construction industry.
• Strong exposure to semiconductor, wafer fab, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or chemical projects.
• Established industry network within Singapore and/or Malaysia will be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of tendering, contracts, commercial management, QA/QC, safety, and project delivery processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Location: West
• Working days: 5 days
• Salary: S$10,000 and AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
