We are partnering with a leading Japanese MNC in Medical Devices, operating across multiple markets with strong links to a global headquarters. The business plays a critical role in advancing hospital and chronic care solutions, combining deep clinical expertise with long-term investment in innovation, integrated care models, and digital enablement. As part of new business expansion, they are now looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the commercialisation of their infection control solution in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and business development strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth for their infection control solution across Singapore. This is a multi-channel B2B role covering a broad range of customer segments including hospitals, dialysis centres, infection prevention & control departments, retail pharmacy chains, veterinary clinics, industrial and commercial sectors. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution selling through to commercial negotiations, tender participation, and contract closure, while building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, procurement teams, distributors, and channel partners.

Beyond direct sales, the role carries responsibility for market development and marketing execution, including planning and delivering scientific seminars, product demonstrations, customer workshops, trade exhibitions, and digital marketing initiatives. Working closely with APAC headquarters and internal teams, you will also contribute to regional expansion planning, evaluate new distribution models, and share market intelligence to help shape the go-to-market strategy across the region.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 5 years of Sales, Business Development, and/or Commercial experience within the Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Life Sciences sector. Candidates with direct experience in Infection Prevention & Control product will be strongly preferred. You will need to have a proven track record in developing new B2B accounts and channels, with the ability to work independently in a hunting role and thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
