Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level.
Your Responsibilities
You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
- To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
- To lead commercial negotiations + create high quality business proposals.
- To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
- To actively network + link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists, Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
- To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
- To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
- To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans.
Your Skills And Experiences
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years in business development within the contract logistics or 3PL industry, with a proven track record of closing large-scale deals.
- Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and cross-border logistics operations in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in tender management and contract negotiation.
- Willingness to travel regionally (Singapore & Malaysia) as required.
