The Role
This is a pure individual contributor, new business role - no inherited accounts, no hand-holding.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across Southeast Asia, selling a well-regarded data and intelligence platform to enterprise clients across sectors. You will be based in Singapore, reporting into regional sales leadership, with the autonomy to shape your own market approach.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Development
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through to close
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline across multiple Southeast Asian markets
- Identify and prioritise target accounts based on fit, opportunity size, and market timing
- Drive outbound activity with purpose - research-led, not spray-and-pray
2. Platform Sales & Solution Positioning
- Articulate the value of a data and intelligence platform to varied buyer profiles - from research leads and strategy teams to C-suite stakeholders
- Run consultative discovery to uncover client use cases and align them to platform capabilities
- Deliver compelling demos and proposals tailored to the commercial realities of each prospect
- Navigate multi-stakeholder deals with confidence and structure
3. Market Development
- Build relationships across Southeast Asia's corporate and institutional landscape
- Stay close to industry trends across the region to identify new verticals and entry points
- Feed market intelligence back to regional and global teams to inform product and go-to-market strategy
4. Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support deal velocity and post-sale transitions
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting discipline within CRM
- Share learnings and best practices with peers across the regional team
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on new business and platform or SaaS selling
- Proven ability to close mid-to-large enterprise deals and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Background in data, analytics, digital media, market research, or adjacent SaaS - experience selling to research, strategy, or commercial functions is a strong advantage
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and translating platform value into business outcomes
- Self-directed and structured - someone who can build their own rhythm without waiting to be told what to do
- Candidates with strong platform sales foundations looking to step into a high-growth, regional mandate are encouraged to apply
