Job Overview

The Business Development Manager - Overseas Steel Supply Chain will be responsible for driving the company's international steel trading and supply chain business development. The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, expanding overseas business networks, strengthening relationships with suppliers and customers, and supporting sustainable business growth across global markets.

The incumbent will conduct market analysis, develop business strategies, and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the company's competitiveness and profitability in the overseas steel supply chain sector. This role requires strong commercial acumen, extensive industry knowledge, and solid experience in overseas market operations.

Job Responsibilities

. Collect and analyze information across the steel supply chain, including upstream and downstream markets, customer demand, industry trends, competitors, and relevant policies, to support overseas business expansion initiatives.

. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while actively developing upstream suppliers and downstream customers to establish independent business channels and expand overseas market share.

. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of supply-demand dynamics and sales performance to enhance market forecasting capabilities, formulate business strategies, and drive profitability.

. Provide professional and customized service solutions to overseas clients, handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and maintain the company's brand reputation.

. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support business operations and ensure smooth execution of overseas business activities.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor's degree or above. Candidates with exceptional capabilities or extensive relevant industry experience may be considered with flexibility on academic qualifications.

. Minimum 15 years of experience in the steel supply chain industry, with proven success in overseas market development and at least 5 years of team management experience.

. Familiar with overseas business operations and international trade practices, with strong market analysis and forecasting capabilities, sound understanding of industry policies, and good insights into industry trends and developments.

. Strong sense of responsibility and business acumen, with a proactive mindset, strong teamwork spirit, and excellent coordination, communication, and management skills.
