We are seeking a driven Business Developer to expand our client base and grow revenue in the finance sector. The role involves generating leads, building strong client relationships, and executing sales strategies. You will work closely with senior management to sharpen our competitive positioning and deliver on business targets.
Key Responsibilities
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across institutional, corporate, and high‑net‑worth client segments
. Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long‑term partnerships and increase assets under management (AUM)
. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends
. Collaborate with senior management to refine competitive positioning and market entry strategies
. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development plans
. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and reports for compliance and tracking
. Perform quality checks on service delivery to uphold standards and strengthen relationships
. Report sales activities and pipeline updates to management for decision-making
. Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports to support client acquisition and retention
. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions
. Achieve assigned sales targets through effective execution
. Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
. 3-8years of experience in business development, corporate banking, asset management, or capital markets.
. Strong knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, structured products, corporate finance solutions).
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
. Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance standards.
