Business Development Manager Insurance / IPMI

We are working with one of the world's leading international healthcare and private medical insurance organisations as it expands its Business Development team in Singapore.

The business has a long-established international presence and provides premium health insurance to individuals, SMEs and multinational organisations around the world.

They are now looking to grow their corporate and SME business further in Singapore.

The Role

Reporting to a senior commercial leader as part of a growing Business Development team, this is an individual contributor role with a clear new-business focus.

The business already works with an established network of leading insurance brokers, IFAs and independent intermediaries. You will work closely with those partners to develop opportunities and manage them through to close. There is a strong broker network to work with, but they are looking for someone who can actively generate business rather than simply manage existing relationships.

The role will include:

• Developing corporate and SME opportunities
• Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and intermediaries
• Identifying new opportunities through the broker network
• Presenting to brokers and clients
• Working towards clear sales and conversion targets

About you:

We areparticularly interested in people currently working in international health insurance, IPMI, group medical or employee benefits who already understand the Singapore market.

You are likely to have strong broker relationships and a track record of winning business rather than purely managing accounts. You should be comfortable carrying a target, getting in front of brokers and clients, and taking responsibility for moving opportunities forward.

We would also consider someone from a leading insurance or employee benefits broker who knows this market well and is interested in moving to the insurer side.

You will be Singaporean, PR or an existing EP holder
