Job Description

We are partnering with an established industrial solutions company seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support business growth across Singapore and Malaysia.

This role will focus on developing new B2B customer relationships, expanding industrial accounts and identifying business opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will lead a small regional team while actively driving new customer acquisition and long-term account development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing markets
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing B2B customers
  • Identify customer requirements and propose suitable service solutions
  • Conduct business presentations, negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to account development
  • Lead and guide a small regional business development team across Singapore and Malaysia
  • Collaborate with internal operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential growth opportunities
  • Achieve business development and revenue growth objectives

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B business development or sales experience within industrial, manufacturing or related sectors
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising a small sales/business development team
  • Strong hunter mindset with proven ability to develop new business opportunities
  • Good communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable engaging industrial and manufacturing clients
  • Proficiency in English is required ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients
