Provide leadership and management for major global Industrial Projects business development
Provide management and commercial operations management expertise to strengthen existing operations, and position the business unit for future growth
Manage profitability of the business unit and provide programme management, project staffing, financial and administrative management leadership for the organization and act as the executive point of contact for all business unit activities reporting at Board level
Develop and implement key customer commercial strategies (short and long-term) and gain buy-in from customer
Manage the successful implementation of new and additional business to meet internal and customer expectations
Develop alternative solutions and formulate commercial and contractual proposals
Develop and implement work with product directors and Global colleagues to ensure a growth in customer relationships including outside of own region, as necessary
Oversee and approve the bid development process and negotiations with the customer/ client in order to deliver service solutions and win contracts that meet customer/client specifications and requirements at a defined level of commercial gain to the company
Assure safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements
Be accountable for overall projects delivery to time and budget as well as expected results for HSSE and client satisfaction
Assure the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company including DP DHL: code of conduct and FCPA regulations
Manage and coordinate activities of all project personnel by direct supervision or through subordinates
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Deep knowledge in the freight forwarding business
Good communication and presentation skills, ideally selling experience in competitive markets
High degree of self confidence, initiative and commitment
Diploma/ degree with at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience
