About the Role
We're hiring a B2B Business Development professional to grow our cross-border payments business. You'll originate and close new clients and channel partners (SMEs, corporates, remitters, fintechs), build a qualified pipeline, and work with Compliance/Operations to onboard customers smoothly. This is a high-ownership role with clear targets and commission.
Key responsibilities
. Own end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting qualification solutioning proposal negotiation close.
. Build and manage a healthy pipeline (outbound + inbound), with weekly forecasts and activity reporting.
. Identify and develop channel partners (referrers, fintech platforms, agents, introducers) and manage partner performance.
. Conduct discovery to understand customer use cases (collection, payout, settlement, FX), and propose suitable pricing and integration approach.
. Coordinate onboarding with Compliance and Ops: ensure documentation, KYB, and risk requirements are met to accelerate go-live.
. Work with product/tech teams on implementation scoping (API integration where applicable) and post-go-live adoption.
. Monitor market/competitors and contribute to go-to-market strategies for new corridors and products.
. Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and report on KPIs (pipeline, conversion, win/loss, revenue and volume).
Requirements
. 2-7 years of B2B sales / BD experience (fintech/payments/FX preferred but not mandatory).
. Comfortable with outbound prospecting and consultative selling.
. Ability to explain pricing, transaction flows, and basic compliance requirements to customers.
. Strong stakeholder management (internal: Compliance/Ops/Tech external: clients/partners).
. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
