This role focuses on developing and managing strategic partnerships with Financial Institutions to drive growth across LazPay's Consumer Digital Credit channels, including BNPL and Cash Loan. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leading FI partners to strengthen payment channels, launch new products, and enhance merchant and user experiences across local and cross-border markets.
Job Description
- Develop and manage strong partnerships with Financial Institutions (Payment Channel Partners) globally for the Consumer Digital Credit Channel, including BNPL and Cash Loan.
- Lead Strategic Partnership Development and cultivate highly effective and deep relationships with existing FI partners.
- Provide actionable insights to shape product development and partnerships.
- Drive impactful collaboration with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, legal & compliance, marketing, fraud, CS, customer service, and operations to develop and execute a business strategy.
- Support merchants (both local and cross-border) to grow in the market. For example: help merchants expand with new payment channels; launch new products with channel partners; and improve user experiences, conditions, and co-marketing for merchants and FI channels.
- Maintain daily operations with partners: troubleshoot, support campaigns, conduct business reviews, optimize costs, and improve payment success rates, etc.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience, with 3 years in Financial Institutions or Fintech (experience in third-party payment companies, digital payments, payment solutions, or merchant acquiring is preferred).
- Strong understanding of the payment industry and acquiring, both local and cross-border.
- Highly reliable, results-oriented, and capable of achieving business outcomes independently.
- Strong logic, communication skills, a positive work attitude, high stress tolerance, and willingness to travel.
