Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Business Development Manager to support business growth through partnership development, business initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities. This role will be responsible for managing relationships with external partners, identifying business opportunities, coordinating growth initiatives, and supporting the successful delivery of strategic objectives. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Management

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with business partners and stakeholders within the financial services sector.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and support the development of new business relationships.

Business Development & Campaign Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement business development initiatives and engagement activities that support organizational growth objectives.

  • Work with partners and internal teams to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and in accordance with agreed objectives.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Organize and support the delivery of seminars, workshops, networking sessions, and other business-related events.

  • Monitor and manage allocated resources and budgets to ensure efficient and effective execution of activities.

Commercial Support & Contract Administration

  • Participate in commercial discussions with partners and stakeholders.

  • Assist with the preparation, review, and administration of partnership agreements and related documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Marketing, Product, Operations, and Compliance, to support business initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.

  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among relevant stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor the progress and outcomes of business initiatives using relevant performance indicators and data analysis.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal management reviews and partner discussions, including periodic business review meetings.

Market & Industry Awareness

  • Keep informed of industry developments, market trends, and competitive activities within the financial services sector.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support business planning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Approximately 5-10 years of experience in business development, partnership management, account management, or B2B relationship management.

  • Experience within the financial services sector will be advantageous.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating business initiatives, engagement activities, events, or projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with commercial discussions, contract administration, and partnership management processes.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and the use of business applications such as Microsoft Office.
