Business Development Manager - Enterprise Sales
Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth across enterprise clients
- Hunt and develop new enterprise accounts, educating clients and convincing them to migrate from legacy tools and incumbent vendors
- Execute a highly consultative sales approach, demonstrating strong salesmanship, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand complex client challenges
- Lead sales efforts within organisations, positioning the firm as a strategic partner
- Articulate and demonstrate the value of transitioning from legacy solutions
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and deal closure
- Develop a deep understanding of client pain points, workflows, and regulatory considerations
- Structure and manage complex commercial models and enterprise contracts
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions and impactful demonstrations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across organisations
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets based on Total Contract Value (TCV)
Requirements
- Proven B2B Enterprise Software Sales experience (mandatory)
- Experience selling large-scale enterprise software solutions and/or migration projects
- Strong sales mindset and salesmanship, with the ability to approach clients confidently, position value effectively, and close complex deals
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (candidates with at least 3 years will be considered)
- Background in Insurance, Actuarial, FinTech, or Financial Services (actuarial knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory)
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand complex products and industry challenges
- Highly driven individual with a strong motivation to hunt for new opportunities and drive business growth
- B2B sales experience only (B2C experience will not be considered)
- Actuarial or insurance domain knowledge
- Prior experience selling into insurance companies
- Mandarin-speaking ability, useful for internal and regional stakeholder communication
