Job Summary
Drive business development for energy and marine propulsion projects across Southeast Asia and the Middle East by managing client relationships, bidding processes, and project execution coordination to secure and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand energy and marine propulsion projects in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand) and the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia) to increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, shipowners, industrial clients, and project owners to support business growth.
- Manage bidding processes by preparing accurate quotations and leading contract negotiations to secure project awards.
- Drive project development from lead generation through to project award, ensuring timely and successful closure.
- Establish and maintain a robust regional client network to facilitate ongoing business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and achieve client satisfaction.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 3 years of business development experience in energy, power, M&E, or mechanical manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with generator sets (Diesel / Gas / HFO), solar/renewable energy, marine propulsion systems, or mechanical manufacturing projects.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern markets, with local client resources considered advantageous.
- Solid understanding of project processes including tendering, contracting, and execution.
- Proficiency in English additional regional language skills are advantageous.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in data center power systems, industrial or marine energy projects, or EPC contracting.
- Existing client network or project channels in target regions.

- Competitive base salary: SGD 4,000+ per month
- Performance-based commission (project-based, uncapped)
