Help us build the future of sustainable energy in ASEAN. Join Tektronix as a Business Development Manager and play a vital role in setting the strategic direction for high-power testing in ASEAN. You will leverage Tektronix's cutting-edge hardware and software solutions with a focus on growing our EA Elektro-Automatik High-Power DC and Test Solutions to introduce new customers to our solutions, capture new opportunities, and drive substantial revenue growth within ASEAN's fast-moving energy ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Opportunity Hunting
  • Spearhead New Business Acquisition: Aggressively seek out and secure new customer accounts across the entire energy ecosystem, positioning Tektronix as a trusted partner in DC electrification.
  • Drive Account Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive key account plans, acting as the primary point of contact to build deep, strong customer relationships and manage the full sales lifecycle.
  • Uncover High-Value Opportunities: Proactively engage new and existing clients with probing questions on adjacent applications to uncover unmet or emerging needs, directly mapping these to Tektronix's portfolio.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive and align business development efforts across key, high-growth organizational initiatives, including DC Grid Modernization, AI Server Power, Battery and Automotive, and Defense Electrification technologies.
  • Market Expertise & Collaboration
  • Provide Technical Domain Fluency: Possess and leverage broad, deep knowledge and hands-on experience across DC electrification domains (e.g., batteries/BMS, DCDC converters, inverters, renewable energy) to drive customer dialogue and credible solution-mapping.
  • Inform Strategic Direction: Capture and communicate customer-driven insights from high-level engagements to directly inform strategic planning, solution development, and product portfolio direction at Tektronix.
  • Partner with Sales Teams: Collaborate closely with account managers, providing Tektronix's DC Programmable Power expertise and articulating compelling customer use cases during critical engagements.
  • Cultivate Key Relationships: Actively cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key customers, industry stakeholders, solution partners, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure long-term strategic alignment and growth.
  • Sales Execution, Applications support & Enablement
  • Own the Sales Funnel: Oversee pipeline development, channel strategy, and conversion tracking to ensure a healthy and predictable business flow for Tektronix.
  • Drive Pre-Sales Strategy: Provide strategic insights and solution alignment to support pre-sales engagements, ensuring seamless customer success.
  • Applications support: POC and solution delivery as required by customers.
  • Develop Sales Enablement Tools: Co-develop essential sales tools, resources, and enablement strategies to expand Tektronix's global reach and enhance market impact.

Required Profile & Qualifications

Domain Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic account management, or high-value solution sales within the energy or technology sectors. Candidates with relevant leadership experience will be considered for team lead role.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong familiarity with battery technology, power electronics, automotive, and grid simulation is required.
  • Technical Fluency is a strong plus: High-level awareness of key codes and standards across the energy ecosystem (e.g., superconductor, solid-state battery, fusion energy).

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent

Travelling

  • Ability to travel (25-50%)
